Cheerleaders

Parents, Welcome to our new program! Port Angeles Cheerleading is now Future Riders Cheerleading, and we are very excited for the program changes this year. We are offering a program with twice a week practices starting in June.

We are THRILLED to be adding stunting to the program! We are also looking forward to an end of year competition with our neighboring Olympic Peninsula leagues. Let us begin by letting you know that all of our coaches are trained for their job.

They are trained as youth coaches and cheer coaches, as well as certified for double-goal coaching (which teaches them the true value of what it means for children in sports), concussion, and sudden cardiac arrest, as well as stunting, First Aid & CPR. Your child’s health and safety is a top priority with us, followed by their enjoyment of the program. The following is the best way to contact us:

Before reaching out to the board about a problem, please reach out to your squad assistant coaches and head coach, and then to our cheer commissioner. Sometimes the simplest solution to the problem can be found by going through the chain of command. Your coaches will reach out to you with their contact information soon.

Please follow the Future Riders Cheerleading on our Facebook page for program information, and join your appropriate squad (Future Riders Cheerleading A Squad, B Squad, or C squad) Facebook page for up to date information from your coaches.

Squad placements:

  • Cheerleaders going into 1st and 2 nd grade: C
  • Squad Cheerleaders going into 3 rd , 4 th , 5 th grade: B
  • Squad Cheerleaders going into 6 th , 7 th , 8 th grade: A

Squad We have many volunteer opportunities throughout the year. If you would like to get involved, please reach out to our cheer commissioner and she will find a great fit for your particular talents. Thank you for your support!
